Everyone enjoys the weekly P.E  lessons and this term we are doing dance ( we alternate between dance and gym). We compared their two styles of picture and found tha they are surprisingly similar. (They are both based mainly on the Industrial Revolution.) In our science we are learning about solids, liquids and gasses. We had some scientific words with sentences and we had to mach each word up with the sentences and then stick them in. It was a lot of fun. Did you know that a solid is something that keeps its shape and something that is hard and well solid? liquid is something that doesn't keep its shape and when it is not in a container or cup it will turn into a puddle. We had fun creating our own expanded noun phrases,preposisional phrases and advrbials of time and place.

We used words and phrases to create atmosphere and paint pictures in the readers head.

We enjoyed making mazes in space, under the sea and anywhere else because of thr wide variety of backgrounds.

We used boxes,sprites and colour tools to create our mazes.

At the start we red the book and made story maps to perform to the rest of the class.

For our innovate we worked as a group to create I am dog.

Now for our Invent we are createing our own versions of I am cat like I am bird,I am fish and even I am crab.

We are currently drafting our Invents.

Their topic was Raging Rivers in Geography which inspired this trip. As part of the trip, they sketched the river, river observations and investigated pebbles around the water. Elm had lots of fun and got very wet!!!

For our topic, Yr5 and 6 had a treasure hunt around the school orchard, looking for different answers to questions we had on a clipboard. We then compared the different answers to find out what made the them similar and what made them different. They are so intresting!
