Welcome to Yealmpton Primary School

There has been a school in Yealmpton since Victorian times and we were fortunate to move into our new school building in June 1995. The new school consists of five classrooms, resource areas, a food technology area, ICT suite, offices, library, kitchens, changing rooms, kiln room, a large community hall and community rooms with a separate community entrance. We have also added a new foundation stage classroom and a mobile classroom.

Our School site covers approximately four acres and is beautifully landscaped with mature horse chestnut trees, numerous shrubs, a pond, orchard, football pitch and play areas.

We believe that our school is an integral part of the community of Yealmpton and as such we encourage strong links with the people, businesses, organisations and churches within the village. We actively encourage parental participation within the daily life of the school and are always pleased to hear of people who have skills they wish to share.

We have a strong links with Yealmpton Pre-School which meets on our site.
